Kundalini Yoga is a comprehensive yoga technology integrating the Eight Limbs of Patanjali's Yoga Practice. It is accessible to anyone drawn to its practice.  it requires no initiation because YOU are your own Guru!

 

Kundalini Yoga efficiently delivers results quickly, in part because it brings these practices together in specific yoga sequences called Kriyas.

The Kundalini Yoga Kriya is central to every Kundalini Yoga class.  A Kriya is a set of yogic practices that synergistically impact the body, the mind, and the soul with specific predictable outcomes.  There are thousands of Kundalini Yoga Kriyas addressing all aspects of body, mind, and soul.

Kundalini Energy is described as the nerve of the Soul. It is an extraordinary powerful evolutionary life-force energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine, coiled like a sleeping snake.  

​

Practicing Kundalini Yoga regularly balances and cleanses the chakras, clearing the path for Kundalini energy to awaken and rise.  â€‹It is an evolutionary experience of self-realization on the path to enlightenment.  

​

In most cases, and in my experience, Kundalini energy is released very gradually, and is often experienced as gentle vibrations in the spine which are exceedingly pleasant whilst the mind becomes more attuned to the soul.  There are rare cases however, where a total Kundalini Awakening occurs spontaneously.  In this situation, a tremendous rush of Kundalini energy rises upwards through the chakras, elevating consciousness to a state of Super-consciousness.  If a spontaneous awakening occurs before the chakras are cleared, it can create considerable mental, emotional, physical and spiritual disruption in people's lives until they address, process and heal the underlying issues impeding the flow of this energy.  

  

Yoginis and Yogis can spend a lifetime practicing breathwork, asanas and meditation seeking to awaken their kundalini energy.  For others, without any yoga discipline, it can occur spontaneously,  When it will happen is a mystery!!
