Capricorn Full Moon Phase
Ground in Love, Guided by Purpose
Capricorn, the cardinal earth sign of the zodiac, speaks to the blueprint of our life’s work, the structures we build, the responsibilities we carry, and the legacy we leave behind. At its highest expression, Capricorn reflects our dharma: the soul-aligned path we are here to walk. Yet research suggests that only 15–22% of people feel genuinely aligned with their work. What would our world look like if more of us were living in devotion to our deeper calling? Throughout life, Capricorn initiates the material and structural goals we feel called to commit ourselves to. This is the work that asks for discipline, patience, and devotion, but rewards us with meaning. Each year, the Capricorn New Moon arrives around the threshold of the new year, a time many of us plant seeds of intention for what wishes to be built. Now, six months later, the Capricorn Full Moon illuminates what has taken shape, offering its light to reflect with. How far have you come? Are you still aligned with the path you set out upon? Is a course correction required? Or is something entirely new calling you forward? This moon carries the signature of turning points and change, (squaring both Saturn and Neptune, the very forces involved in the rare and profound Aries conjunction, that initiated us at the start of the year, and yes, the astro event that hadn't occurred in 6000 years). And as with all Full Moons, balance is the medicine. The Sun in nurturing Cancer shines its light on home, family, safety, and our emotional needs. The Moon in Capricorn reflects that light back through the lens of ambition, responsibility, and future vision. Together they ask: Can your outer life truly support your inner life? Can your success be built in a way that nourishes your heart? Can the legacy you are creating be rooted in emotional truth? This is the sacred axis of home and vocation. Inner sanctuary and outer contribution. But perhaps the deepest wisdom of Capricorn is found in her archetype: the Seagoat. Half mountain goat. Half ancient sea-being. Her hooves climb the steepest terrain with precision, resilience, and mastery. Yet the source of her power does not begin on the mountain. It begins in the depths. Her fish tail moves through the great emotional waters, through intuition, memory, and the unseen. This is where her true authority is born. Not from force. But from feeling. Not from striving. But from deep inner knowing. And this is the deeper teaching of this Full Moon. The water-earth axis reminds us that what we build externally can only be as strong as what has been tended internally. Cancer, where the Sun now moves, governs our roots, our ancestral line, our inner child, and our earliest emotional imprinting. And now Mercury has stationed to go retrograde in Cancer, inviting a return to our feelings, and to unfinished emotional truths. Over the coming three weeks, pay close attention. Mercury may deliver messages through memories, dreams, old emotions, or family patterns asking to be witnessed. Because perhaps the most powerful work before us now is this: To resolve what was inherited. To nurture what was neglected. To reclaim the parts of ourselves left waiting in the past. In medical astrology, Capricorn governs the spine, knees, joints, and the deep architecture of our bones. It writes its stories into the body, deeply in our bones. So move gently. Practice spinal flexes and spinal twists in rhythm with your breath, and invite the healing frequencies of this Full Moon to support you in: • Releasing ancestral imprints and inherited patterns held bone-deep • Dissolving fears around success, failure, and fully stepping into your power • Restoring harmony between outer responsibilities and inner emotional needs • Reclaiming your inner authority through emotional wisdom • Aligning with the legacy your soul is here to create Love and Full Moon Blessings, Kalyan Darshan In collaboration with the cosmos
